- The Returned & Services League of Australia WA Branch has establed a new service.
The new service is known as the Legal Support Group.
- The aim of the Legal Support Group is to assist service and ex-service personnel and their dependants, in paricular those members who are unable
to afford qualified legal representation, with advice, guidance and in some cases representation on basic legal
porcedures including criminal, traffic and local law. Complex legal proceedings will be referred on to appropriate practioners.
- The group was formed by a number of ex-servicemen who have also served with the Western Australian Police Service and the Australian Federal Police. It occured
to its founders that there might be a need for such a service within the framework of ex-service associations.
- All members of the Legal Support Group work on a voluntary basis. THE SERVICE IS FREE
